Halal competency and certification.
DH Movere is an appointed Rakan Strategik Halal (RSH) of Jabatan Agama Islam Negeri Johor. Our competency seminars are run with JAINJ, against the Malaysian Halal Certification Procedures Manual (MPPHM Domestic) 2020.
Inside the Johor halal system, not adjacent to it.
There is a difference between a consultant who has read the manual and one who is an appointed strategic partner of the state religious authority. DH Movere holds Rakan Strategik Halal status with JAINJ, with a certificate issued by the Johor State Halal Strategic Partner Committee, and co-runs competency seminars with JAINJ's halal management division.
That matters because Malaysian halal certification is administered federally by JAKIM and at state level by authorities such as JAINJ in Johor. Knowing which door your application goes through, and in what order, is most of the work.
The commercial case is straightforward. The Malaysian halal industry was worth roughly RM10 billion in 2020 and is projected to reach around RM30 billion by 2030. Certification is how a Johor manufacturer gets into that market and stays in it.

Certification consultancy
Where training builds the committee, consultancy gets the submission through. Five stages, from a gap analysis before anything starts to the documents going in.
-
Gap analysis
Run before the project starts, so both sides know the real distance between where the premises is and what the certification requires.
-
Document development
The halal assurance system, manual, procedures and records built around your actual process flow.
-
Compliance recommendations
What has to change on the premises, in sourcing, in cleaning and in labelling before a submission stands a chance.
-
Pre certification assessment
An internal halal audit against the criteria the on site audit will use, with time left to correct what it finds.
-
Document submission
Support through the MyeHalal submission and the post certification notification process.
Common questions
No, and no consultant can. Halal certification in Malaysia is issued by JAKIM federally and by state authorities such as JAINJ in Johor. We prepare your premises, your people and your documentation so the application succeeds, and we support you through the submission.
It is an appointment by the Johor State Halal Strategic Partner Committee that lets us run competency programmes with JAINJ's halal management division. In practice it means our material tracks the current procedures manual and our trainers work with the authority that will assess you.
Food safety certification. MeSTI is the usual first step, then GMP and HACCP, and FSSC 22000 where an export customer requires it. We run that as a separate practice area, and it starts with a free gap assessment.
For Johor entrepreneurs there are state grants covering halal certification preparation, halal industry development, and premises and documentation upgrades. Eligibility depends on SSM registration, trading history and financial position. We advise on applications as part of our grant advisory work.
